We are your Veteran owned, multiple discipline firearm training solution!  Our expert instructors pride themselves on their ability to work with all levels of shooters, from those who have never touched a firearm before, to experienced shooter looking to take their training to the next level!

We provide access to safe, reliable, and wide-ranging shooting platforms.  Shooters can experience learning every different firearm type and action legal for civilian use.

Safety and handling used to be the firearms basics that everyone was taught and understood.

Our mission is to ensure that when a student leaves our courses, they are more competent shooters who can share their love of shooting disciplines and are better able to defend themselves and those they love.

Learn the basics of firearms safety and handling.  Learn the different types of firearms and how they work.  Learn the proper procedures for loading and unloading, safely storing and transporting, and proper firearm precautions for any shooting discipline.  Minors over 7 years allowed with parent or guardian present.

Certified Colorado Instructors provide initial and refresher coursed in compliance with Colorado Law (CRS 18-12-202.7).  Classes conducted thru Straightforward Shooting, we have certified thousands of Coloradans who wish to pursue their Concealed Carry Permits.  Please email for information.
